El Pollo Loco brings back Chicken Tamales for holidays

El Pollo Loco Inc. has brought back its popular Chicken Tamales, available through the New Year.
Inspired by the kitchens of Mexico, El Pollo Loco's Chicken Tamales are filled with spiced chicken simmered in a rich Colorado chili sauce infused with Mexican herbs and spices. The tamales are formed by hand with cooked corn masa prepared with real Meseca, wrapped in cornhusks, and served with a choice of fresh salsas.
Chicken Tamales are sold individually and in quantities of four and 12. El Pollo Loco also offers a Tamale Plate featuring two Chicken Tamales topped with Colorado chili sauce and Jack and Cheddar cheeses, served with rice and pinto beans.
