El Pollo Loco introduces 'Create Your Own' Pollo Bowl

Limited-time offer allows customers to choose from an assortment of ingredients.

Beginning October 16, customers at El Pollo Loco can create their favorite Pollo Bowl exactly how they want it through the restaurant's limited-time "Create Your Own" three-step customization process. The introduction marks the first QSR+ restaurant chain to offer this type of menu customization at drive-thru, El Pollo Loco reports.

Guests can choose from an assortment of ingredients to craft their own through a three step process:

· Pick 1: Chopped thigh, chopped breast, pork carnitas

· Pick 2: Rice, pinto beans, black beans, lettuce, broccoli

· Pick 3: Avocado, cotija cheese, guacamole, cut corn, sour cream, mango salsa, jack cheese, pico de gallo

· Top off with: poblano salsa, creamy cilantro, ranchero sauce or queso

"Create Your Own" Pollo Bowls will be available in participating El Pollo Loco restaurants starting at $5.79 a bowl.
