El Pollo Loco launches 'Chickenless Pollo'

El Pollo Loco has rolled out its own plant-based chicken alternative, dubbed Chickenless Pollo, now available at all its 485 stores, a news release said.  

The offering blends Mexican flavors in an adobo sauce with a non-GMO soy protein base that emulates shredded chicken.Chickenless Pollo is part of a new limited-time lineup of six Mix & Match Street Tacos, including what the brand has named the "World's First Keto Taco."
