El Pollo Loco 'over-stuffs' its summer LTOS

El Pollo Loco, Inc. added a $5 Crunchy Nacho Overstuffed Quesadilla as the latest addition to its L.A. Mex offerings that blend Mexican and Los Angeles flavors. The quesadilla is a new take on two fan favorites at the brand — Fire-Grilled Chicken Nachos and Overstuffed Quesadillas, a news release said.

"We know our customers love our nachos and overstuffed quesadillas, so we've come up with an innovative way that offers everything they love about nachos now inside a quesadilla at a great value for only five dollars," said Hector Muñoz, Chief Marketing Officer at El Pollo Loco. "The Overstuffed Quesadilla line is a great example of our continued efforts to bring our customers a fresh, new approach to the authentic food they crave."

The brand also introduced two other LTOs in that over-stuffed line, including the double pollo and spicy serrano, but all three of the temporary offers feature fire-grilled chicken, queso blanco and pico de gallo salsa. And for families or just larger groups, El Pollo Loco has created its new $20 Chicken & Cheesy Quesadilla Family Dinner with eight pieces of fire-grilled chicken, any two large sides and six classic quesadilla slices. But it, too, is only here for a limited time at the chain's more than 480 locations.
