El Pollo Loco rolls out Grilled Chicken Nachos

IRVINE, Calif. — El Pollo Loco is rolling out freshly prepared Grilled Chicken Nachos.

 

According to a news release, the nachos feature citrus-marinated, flame-grilled chicken breast piled over fresh tortilla chips topped with refried beans and Jack cheese and poblano queso sauce. Add-ons include shredded jack and cheddar cheeses, freshly prepared Pico de Gallo, creamy guacamole and sliced jalapenos.

 

"Prior to our launch of Grilled Chicken Nachos, I can't recall a time when consumers have had the opportunity to enjoy authentic, restaurant quality nachos at a fast-food eatery," said Karen Eadon, chief marketing officer for El Pollo Loco. "But now you can enjoy real nachos, realfresh at El Pollo Loco with signature ingredients no one else has, like El Pollo Loco's citrus-marinated, flame-grilled chicken and delectable new Jack cheese and poblano queso."

 

According to a news release, El Pollo Loco's new Grilled Chicken Nachos will be advertised in TV commercials featuring the "Master of the El Pollo Loco Flame." The 30-second television spots will air in select West Coast markets.
