Elon Musk wants McDonald's to accept dogecoin

Elon Musk is hoping McDonald's Corp. will accept cryptocurrency dogecoin, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

The chief executive of Tesla Inc. tweeted this Tuesday: "I will eat a happy meal on tv if @McDonalds accepts Dogecoin."

Musk said Tesla would accept dogecoin for payment for some merchandise and is a fan of the cryptocurrency.
