Famous Dave's enters agreement for Texas, Okla. locations

MINNEAPOLIS — Famous Dave's has announced that Famous Ventures LP has purchased the right to franchise nine Famous Dave's Legendary Pit Bar-B-Que restaurants in Texas and Oklahoma. The markets covered by the agreement include the Texas towns of West Texas, Fort Worth and San Antonio; and Lawton, Okla.
The parent company to Famous Ventures, Exceptional Brands LLC, owns and operates 11 Buffalo Wild Wings and Taco Bell restaurants throughout Texas and Oklahoma. Exceptional Brands, based in Abilene, Texas, was founded in 1973 and employs approximately 500 people.
