Fast-food firm fined for rodent infestation

Milton KeynesCitizen (United Kingdom): Fast-food delivery company Mister Chef has been fined thousands of pounds after environmental health officers found mice on its premises.
Runa Laila Begun Meah, the 25-year-old owner of Mister Chef, admitted five offenses under the Food Hygiene Regulations Act when she appeared before Milton Keynes Magistrates Court. Meah was fined £400 for each count and ordered to pay £1,000 costs.
