Fazoli's 9th Missouri store reopens 1 year, 1 fire later

Fazoli's is re-opening its location in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, on May 22 following a fire that destroyed the original store last May. A news release said the location is the chain's ninth in Missouri and is located on North Westwood Boulevard.

The restaurant includes a drive-thru and features the brand's new design.

"I am thrilled to be bringing Fazoli's back to the Poplar Bluff area as the brand is so well-known and beloved in the community," owner/franchisee Jack Duckett, said in the release. "Our emphasis has always been fresh quality ingredients and a family-friendly atmosphere, so we look forward to continuing to be a place for friends and family to enjoy premium Italian food at a great value."

The Poplar Bluff restaurant will re-open with Fazoli's recently refined menu, introducing more flavor and menu options to meet consumer tastes and preferences. The modernized menu uses premium ingredients and includes tableside grated Parmesan, upgraded plate ware, as well as new dishes, including spicy penne with chicken or sausage and brownie gelato sundaes.

The release said Fazoli's franchisees are experiencing nearly three times the industry average growth rate with new franchised restaurants continually setting new system-wide records. The chain has nearly 220 restaurants in 27 states.
