Feb. comps up at Hardee's, Carl's Jr.

CARPINTERIA, Calif. — Period one same-store sales for the four weeks ended Feb. 25, 2008, for increased 1.4 percent for Carl's Jr. and and 1.6 for Hardee's, parent company CKE Restaurants Inc. announced.
Revenue for period one from company-operated Carl's Jr. restaurants was approximately $46.7 million, while revenue from company-operated Hardee's restaurants was approximately $40.5 million.
During the period, Carl's Jr. reintroduced its Chili Cheese Burgers and Chili Cheese Fries, introduced the Cap'n Crunch shake and continued to promote the Huevos Rancheros Breakfast Burrito. Hardee's reintroduced the Jalapeno Thickburger and continued to promote the Smoked Sausage Biscuit.
