First S.C. Del Taco location to create state's largest burrito

BOILING SPRINGS, S.C. — On June 6, Del Taco will celebrate the grand opening of its first South Carolina location in Boiling Springs with family entertainment including a rock climbing wall, carnival games and prizes, a 99-cent kids meal, free samples and a 15-foot Macho Burrito that will be hand-made, cut and served at noon.
The giant-sized replica of Del Taco's popular Macho Burrito features 15 overlapping flour tortillas filled with beans, taco meat, red and green sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole and freshly grated cheddar cheese. The burrito will be assembled, then cut and served.
Del Taco operates 24 hours and serves a wide range of Mexican menu items such as tacos, burritos and quesadillas as well as burgers, fries and shakes.
