Fla. Wendy's to offer free burger coupons

ORLANDO, Fla. — This Labor Day weekend, Wendy's restaurants from Central Florida to Miami will offer customers "Celebrating the American Workforce Giveaway" coupons. The coupons will offer more than 1 million Double Stacks, company officials said.
Participating Wendy's will present the first 50 dine-in customers on Labor Day with a book of 52 coupons for free Double Stacks — a year's supply of burgers.
The promotion will begin at 11 a.m. Sept. 1, 2008, at 400 participating Florida Wendy's in the greater communities of Orlando, Daytona, Ocala, Melbourne, West Palm Beach, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Lakeland, Ft. Myers, and Naples.
The Double Stack features two patties with cheese, onions and pickles and is 99 cents on Wendy's Super Value Menu.
