Former Mooyah CEO selected to head Dairy Queen franchise group

Bill Spae, who most recently served as CEO of Mooyah Burgers, has been named CEO of Vasari LLC, the second largest franchisee in the Dairy Queen system.

According to the Dallas News, Irving, Texas-based Vasari is the largest franchise group in Texas, with 74 Dairy Queen units. It also operates the brand in Oklahoma and New Mexico.

Spae was named Mooyah's CEO in December 2012. Prior, he served as COO of CiCi's Pizza.
