Founder of Popeyes owner stepping down

Atlanta Journal-Constitution: Frank Belatti, founder of AFC Enterprises, the owner of Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits, is stepping down as chairman of the company he started in 1992. Belatti will become a managing partner at the Altanta-based investment firm Equicorp Partners LLC.

John Cranor will replace Belatti as chairman.
