Franchiserankings.com has named the winners of Best Overall Franchises for October 2014.

The research and rankings site selected 10 franchises based on reputation, resources and assistance in establishing long-term development for franchisees. Franchises are evaluated on growth prospect, marketing support, ongoing support, training and value. The process involves contacting and interviewing franchisees.

The top ten are:

2) Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwich Shops

3) Pizza Hut

4) Dunkin' Donuts

5) Supercuts

7) Servpro Industries

8) Anytime Fitness

9) Hampton Inn & Suites

10) 7-eleven Convenience Stores

The site also named the rankings for Best Food Franchises for October 2014 using the same criteria in an "in-depth analysis," the company said.
