Los Angeles-based consumer private equity firm Brentwood Associates' K-MAC Holdings Corp. has added an additional 21 Taco Bell restaurants to its portfolio, which already includes 281 Taco Bell, KFC and Golden Corral franchises. According to a news release, this acquisition makes K-MAC one of the largest Taco Bell franchisees in the U.S.
K-MAC Holdings Corp. is headquartered in Fort Smith, Ark. It acquired the 21 Taco Bell restaurants from Ricksim Inc., which operates in the Oklahoma City market.
K-MAC is led by president and CEO Sam Fiori and COO Tina Reagan.
"This acquisition brings K-MAC's restaurant count to 56 across the state of Oklahoma, and it will allow us to pursue additional new unit development opportunities in the market," Reagan said in the release.
