Friendly's Ice Cream LLC announces fundraising campaign for Easter Seals

Friendly's will offer customers five Valentine's Day cards, redeemable for free Friendly's Kids Cones or a coupon booklet with money-saving coupons, when they donate $1 to benefit Easter Seals Camp Friendly's program.

From now until February 13, Friendly's Ice Cream LLC will offer its customers five Valentine's Day cards, redeemable for free Friendly's Kids Cones or a coupon booklet with money-saving coupons, when they donate $1 to benefit Easter Seals Camp Friendly's program.

The effort is part of Friendly's 34th annual "Cones for Kids" campaign. The campaign has raised nearly $28.5 million to date -- more than $322,000 in 2014 alone -- to benefit nineteen Easter Seals Camp Friendly's program locations across the region.

"We are proud of our 34 year partnership with Easter Seals. We know that contributions to Easter Seals make it possible for children with disabilities to have a great summer camp experience, "said John M. Maguire, president and CEO of Friendly's and member of Easter Seals National Board of Directors in a press release. "Our guests and restaurant teams are excited to begin the 2015 campaign."
