Fro.Zen.Yo adds eight stores in DC region

March 9, 2012

Fro.zen.yo has announced that eight new stores will be developed in the Washington D.C., metropolitan region.

The plan involves Dan and Jaquie McDonnell, a seasoned marketing and accounting team. The McDonnell's were steered in the Fro.zen.yo direction by their three children.

"While fro.zen.yo has a phenomenal product line to satisfy almost everyone, as an Ironman Triathlete, my wife and I were looking for an opportunity for a healthy alternative option and have found it," Dan said.

He will focus on marketing, general operations and future expansion, while Jaquie will head up the accounting and financial side of the business.

Currently, fro.zen.yo has eight locations already open in the DC metro area and is in advanced conversations with prospective franchisees to bring the brand to many other cities in the U.S. and overseas.

"We are excited to bring these experienced and motivated entrepreneurs to the fro.zen.yo family," said Michael Rendelman, director of Franchising. "The self-serve model and unique culture of fro.zen.yo are proving to be exciting for consumers as well as prospective owners as we see the brand growing."

The fro.zen.yo menu features more than 38 flavors of frozen yogurt and a variety of fruit, candy and other unique toppings.
