Dunkin' is putting something that's quite literally "cheery" into the nation's March Fridays, with the start of its "Free Donut Fridays," promoted through a partnership with eternal celebrity cheerleader/YouTuber, Gabi Butler. The program gives each loyalty program member paying with a DD Perks card a free doughnut with any beverage purchase — except espresso shots — which is OK with us. If you've seen Butler's Netflix special, "Cheer," you'll probably agree that a shot of espresso is the last thing most cheerleaders need.

As Dunkin's ambassador, Butler will take to Instagram Wednesday to kick off a cheer challenge to accompany the free doughnut campaign.

On each of the four March Fridays this year, Dunkin' customers who show their Free Donut Fridays spirit through videos or stories that demonstrate their best original T-G-I-F-D-F (cheerleader code for Thank God It's Free Donut Friday) online, will also get a chance at free doughnuts for a year, after which, presumably, they will no longer be able to squeeze into those tiny cheerleading uniforms.

Each entrant must also tag @Dunkin and use #FDFSweepstakes with his or her post. A winner will be selected each Friday in March, but just one qualifier on participation in this contest: It's for adults 18 years and older, so younger cheerleaders will just have to con older siblings or parents to enter on their behalf.
