Actor and comedian George Lopez's virtual restaurant brand — George Lopez Tacos — is now available in 80 cities, including Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York City, Miami, San Francisco and Seattle. Lopez, a passionate foodie, partnered with Nextbite, a virtual restaurant company, to create the delivery-only concept, according to a company press release.
"My street tacos are all about helping you rompe your routines and dinner expectations with a badass street taco experience that tastes damn delicious," Lopez said in the release. "With Nextbite's delivery-only concept, we are helping restaurants thrive by adding a delicious delivery-only menu item that allows them to get a little bit of George in the kitchen and bring more revenue into their operation."
The menu includes Lopez's personal recipes, featuring slow-cooked meats, flavorful toppings and salsa sauces.
"We had a lot of fun creating this menu together and think customers will love the delicious taqueria choices," said Alex Canter, CEO and founder of Nextbite. "The food is really authentic to George and even includes his favorite dessert, churro bites."
In a time where restaurants are still facing many COVID-related challenges, restaurant partners welcome the collaboration and opportunity to add these new George Lopez delivery-only tacos for another source of revenue using their existing restaurant capacity and labor, Canter said.
In addition to the George Lopez Tacos, Nextbite's brand portfolio includes HotBox by Wiz by Wiz Khalifa as well as 12 other menus.
