Global comps rise at McDonald's

OAK BROOK, Ill. —Global comparable sales at McDonald's Corp. increased 6.7 percent in the fourth quarter, the company announced. U.S. comps grew 3.3 percent within the same period, while comps in the Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa segment rose 11.4 percent, marking its highest annual comparable result in more than 15 years.
Revenues reached a record high of $22.8 billion for 2007.
