Global Franchise Group is partnering with CloudKitchens on its first ghost kitchen which is opening today as a remote Round Table Pizza in Los Angeles, California and offering pickup and delivery.
Global Franchise Group, a brand management company, is franchisor of Round Table Pizza, Great American Cookies, Hot Dog on a Stick, Marble Slab Creamery and Pretzelmakers.
The ghost kitchen, at 358 West 38th Street, is operated by longtime Round Table franchisee Leticia Vasquez, according to a press release. Vasquez operates a restaurant in Culver City.
The ghost kitchen, which will offer a shortened menu and be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Sunday, marks the brand's expansion into Los Angeles. Round Table Pizza has more than 415 locations nationwide and about 200 franchise deals in development, according to the release. It aims to have 500 locations by 2023.

Ghost kitchens operate as a vehicle for pickup and delivery services and allow brands to expand their footprint while reducing overhead costs.
