Gloria Jean's Coffees to award free coffee for a year

Gloria Jean's Coffees has announced the launch of its 'Free Coffee for a Year' sweepstakes.

Gloria Jean's Coffees has announced the launch of its "Free Coffee for a Year" sweepstakes. The promotion began Monday and will run through Sunday, Jan. 31, according to a company press release. To enter, guests must submit their name and contact information in the sweepstakes entry box located in each participating Gloria Jean's Coffees location. The brand is presenting the prize to one winner at each participating location.

"The 'Free Coffee for a Year' sweepstakes is about rewarding our fans for their loyalty year after year," said Britt Flores, director of marketing for Gloria Jean's Coffees. "There is no better way for us to show our thanks than to shower our guests with prizes. In fact, on the day that we award the sweepstakes winners, we will also hand out hundreds of free bags of coffee around the country to people coming into Gloria Jean's Coffees locations."

To announce the winners, Gloria Jean's Coffees will host a reveal party on Feb. 3 at each participating location, the release stated. Beginning that day at 1 p.m. each of the participating locations will give the first 100 guests to arrive at the event a free quarter-pound bag of the brand's Ethiopian Yirgacheffe whole beans. Their Ethiopian Yirgacheffe was recently awarded Best Overall in the Franchise/Chain category at the 2015 Golden Bean North America Competition. The Golden Bean is a globally known event designed to honor the world's best coffee roasters by allowing their custom coffee blends to be critiqued by their peers

The sweepstakes drawing will take place at 4 p.m. local time. The owner and/or manager of the local coffee house will draw a random entry card from the submission box. The winner will receive a custom-engraved golden coffee tumbler and one free 16-ounce brewed coffee per day for a year.
