Feb. 26 is National Chili Day and Founders Days for Gold Star Chili, the company announced. The company plans to kick off of the 90-unit restaurant chain’s 50th Anniversary commemoration by offering $3 3-Ways all day long.

The Cincinnati-style chili chain was formed in 1965 by the four Daoud brothers, Basheer, Charlie, Dave and Frank, according to the announcement.

Gold Star plans to reinvent itself on multiple fronts throughout 2015 with plans for the introduction of the next generation of restaurant interior and exterior design, the opening of new locations, an evolved logo and new design standards, new products and a refreshed menu.
