Golden Chick celebrates 40 years

DALLAS — Golden Chick, the Texas-based quick-service chain launched in 1967 as Golden Fried Chicken, is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
"Golden Chick has survived many restaurant trends and changes over its 40 year history ... at the end of the day, regardless of how you package it, success in the food business is still all about great food and great service that meets or exceeds expectations," said company president Kelly Creighton. "We've been able to carve out a loyal base of customers and hold on to them."
Golden Chick will celebrate its 40th anniversary with promotional specials at each of its 76 locations.
