Golden Chick took home some silver and bronze in the 42nd Telly Awards as the Texas-based chicken franchise received awards for two of its campaigns, and its first-ever parody spot, a news release said.

The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television across all screens and is judged by leaders from video platforms, television, streaming networks and production companies.

The advertising campaigns honored included Golden Chick's spots, "Fletcher's Corny Dog," "Man on the Street" and "Big Bowl." Those efforts jointly were awarded three silver and one bronze Telly including:

  • Silver award for top Local TV promotional campaign for Golden Chick's "Man on the Street" spots.
  • Silver award in the regional TV general category for the brand's Fletcher's Original Corny Dog Promotion.
  • Silver award in the food and beverage social video category for Fletcher's Original Corny Dog Promotion.
  • Bronze award in the regional TV general category for the Big Bowls campaign.

"In the face of a year like no other, Golden Chick has continued to defy the limitations of our new world, in continuing to create compelling and engaging work", Telly Awards Executive Director Sabrina Dridje said in the release. "This year's submissions doubled-down on what we already know about the industry. Creativity cannot be stopped. Collaboration will always prevail. New ideas and stories will always find a way to break through to an audience."
