Good Times latest restaurant features new design

December 2, 2014

A new Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard opened last week in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, featuring the brand's new restaurant design.

“We have wanted to be in this trade area for many years and we had the opportunity to take over an older Burger King restaurant and completely renovate it with a new interior design that we anticipate will be the template for remodeling our older dining room stores as well as for additional new stores in the Colorado market,” CEO Boyd Hoback said in a news release. “Highlands Ranch is a perfect fit for our concept with upscale demographics and customers that appreciate our commitment to fresh, handcrafted, all natural products."

The nearest Good Times is about 5 miles away, so Hoback said the area is underserved. The new restaurant had an "exceptional" opening week's sales volume, he added.

The new design includes what the company calls more upscale finishes such as whitewashed barnwood, stained concrete floors, industrial metals and lighting and natural woods.

An additional Good Times restaurant is under development and scheduled to open in the spring of 2015 at The Shops at Arapahoe Commons in Aurora, Colorado.

"The Good Times brand continues to grow and perform very well so we are trying to access as many sites as we can in Colorado as we evaluate the possibilities for out-of-market expansion," Hoback said.
