Great American Cookies intros Apple Harvest Nut flavor
August 26, 2009
Great American Cookies is introducing their newest creation just in time for fall — Apple Harvest Nut cookie. The new cookie, which debuts in stores Aug. 31, combines the flavors of apple, oatmeal, granola, white chocolate chunks and nuts with a hint of cinnamon, and is topped with powdered sugar. The cookie is the first flavor from the company to incorporate fruit flavors and chewy granola.
The Apple Harvest Nut cookie launch will take place during Great American Cookies' fall celebration, which also highlights new seasonal Cookie Cake designs, and is supported by NexCen Franchise Management Inc., a subsidiary of NexCen Brands Inc.
"Apple Harvest Nut is the result of months of research and development," said Michael Curtis, vice president of plant operations and head of NexCen Franchise Management's R&D department. "This cookie is the first from Great American Cookies that incorporates not only chewy granola but also an apple flavor."
Great American Cookies currently offers more than a dozen delicious cookie flavors including Original Chocolate Chip, Domino and Chewy Pecan Supreme, among others, as well as the company's signature Double Doozie product (two Original Chocolate Chip with M&M'S cookies sandwiched with a layer of white icing). Updates on the company's new products and promotions are also posted on the Great American Cookies' Facebook fan page and its custom e-mail fan club, CookiE-mail.
