Great American Cookies opens in Ft Lauderdale area

Great American Cookies has opened in Oakland Park, Florida. The opening marks the brand's foothold in Florida to 20 locations, according to a press release.

"We are excited to officially open our doors to locals in Oakland Park and the surrounding Fort Lauderdale area," Jenn Johnston, president of parent company FAT Brands' quick-service division, said in the press release. "Florida continues to be a key part of our growth plans, and, with this store, we are now able to celebrate life's moments with a new audience."

Great American Cookies operates 270 bakeries across the country and internationally in Bahrain, Guam and Saudi Arabia.
