Green Burrito adds chicken taquitos to snack lineup

Green Burritos at co-branded Carl's Jr. restaurants are now featuring new chicken taquitos. The Mexican dish features charbroiled chicken rolled into a tortilla and fried, then topped with avocado-cilantro sauce and shredded cheddar-jack cheese.

"We're answering the call for the crunch," said John Koncki, director of product development at Carl's Jr. "With flavorful chicken, cool and creamy cilantro-spiked avocado sauce and cheddar-jack cheese, it's a whole lot of authentic Mexican flavor all rolled up in a fresh, fun-to-eat, crunchy taquito."

Chicken taquitos are available in 3-piece and 5-piece sizes for $2.69 and $4.59, respectively. Chicken taquitos are also available as combos with chips or fries and a soft drink. Prices may vary by location. Guacamole is available for an additional charge.
