Hangover Krystal LTO finds its moment

Krystal's -called Hangover Krystal sandwich is returning as an LTO at the chain on Dec. 28, according to a news release.
The annual rite of yearly passage features cheese, bacon, onion and a fresh-cracked fried egg on a steamed bun as the answer to whatever revelry customers find themselves having indulged in.
"Krystal is well known as the go-to remedy after a night of overindulgence," Angela Johnson, vice president of Marketing, said in the release. "After the ups and downs of 2020, the Hangover Krystal, with its fresh-cracked fried egg, is sure to be the perfect cure after New Year's celebrations."
The LTO will be available for $1.69 all day and on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, participating restaurants will be open 24 hours to serve Hangover Krystals and Hangover Krystal meals that feature two of the sandwiches and small tots.
Krystal Restaurants Llc. now has 300 restaurants in nine states and is based in Dunwoody, Georgia.
