Hardee's launches new Thickburger

ST. LOUIS — In a nod to burger-joint menus of the 1950's and 60's, Hardee's restaurants are introducing a new patty melt-style burger.
The new Patty Melt Thickburger is made with a charbroiled 1/3-lb. Angus beef patty, topped with grilled onions and melted Swiss cheese and served between two slices of grilled rye bread.
The Patty Melt Thickburger will be sold at participating Hardee's restaurants for $2.99, or $4.79 for a small combo including fries and a drink. Prices may vary.
