Hardee's No. 1 meets the wrecking ball

News & Observer (Raleigh, N.C.): The first franchised Hardee's restaurant, which opened in Greenville, N.C. in 1961, is slated to be demolished this week. The building is being torn down to make way for a park and veterans memorial.
