The Hardee's restaurant chain is testing three new varieties of a chicken tender wrap line, including buttermilk ranch, honey mustard and Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue. The test line was launched on Aug. 27 in Wilmington, N.C.
According to the Wilmington StarNews, the company chose Wilmington because it features several newly remodeled Hardee's units.
If the products experience local success, they could be rolled out nationwide. The wraps are part of the restaurant's new chicken tenders line, which was launched in June.
The wraps are sold as a snack item for $1.49 each.
