Hardee's sweetens up its biscuits

Just in time for Halloween, Hardee's has introduced a sweet treat: the new caramel crumb biscuit. This made from scratch biscuit is covered in caramel sauce, drizzled with icing and finished off with a crumbly topping.

It will be sold during the breakfast daypart. The Caramel Crumb Biscuit is available at participating restaurants for 99 cents. Two are sold for $1.69, and six-packs are sold for $3.99.

"Our fruit-and-icing topped biscuits have been big hits with our customers for many years now but the new Caramel Crumb Biscuit just might prove to be our most popular sweet-treat ever,” said Brad Haley, executive vice president of marketing for Hardee’s Food Systems, Inc. "Hardee’s now has a great way to treat yourself at breakfast this Halloween and throughout the entire holiday season."

Hardee's has recently introduced a couple of new items to find its place in a competitive breakfast category.
