An unlikely player has emerged among brands offering breakfast — Hot Dog on a Stick is marketing an all-day breakfast menu with portable options. One menu option is a sausage on a stick with maple syrup and tater tots.
"We’ve tested our new Sausage on a Stick with Maple Syrup and Tater Tots and our fans report it’s the breakfast of their dreams," Hot Dog on a Stick Vice President Lisa Merrell said in a news release.
The chain is staging a contest to kick off its all-day breakfast on social media, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, where fans can tell the world about the new offerings for a chance to win a free breakfast.
The Global Franchise Group-owned chain has nearly 100 locations in the US and Korea.
