Honey Dew Donuts adds trio of International Breakfast Sandwiches
April 19, 2010
New England-based Honey Dew Donuts has debuted a new line of International Breakfast Sandwiches for an introductory price of $2.99 plus tax. The trio of delicious International Breakfast Sandwiches — the All American, French and Portuguese sandwiches — expand the company's extensive offerings.
Honey Dew Donuts' three new International Breakfast Sandwiches include:
All American, featuring an egg, steak and cheddar cheese sandwich on ciabatta bread, available with A1 Steak Sauce
French Sandwich, featuring egg, ham and garlic herb spread on a light, buttery and flaky croissant
Portuguese Sandwich, a mildly spicy egg, linguica and cheddar cheese sandwich on ciabatta bread
"Honey Dew has a strong connection with the 'local flavor' of our customers, and we know these sandwiches will be a big hit," said Richard Bowen, president and founder of Honey Dew Associates Inc. "We surveyed our customers and found out directly from them what type of sandwiches they would like. Honey Dew is aiming to redefine the breakfast sandwich with that local taste in mind."
Honey Dew, which operates 145 Honey Dew Donut shops in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire, also is focused on growing its brand. Company plans include increasing store growth by 15 percent. In February, the company announced an agreement with full-service commercial real estate firm The Dartmouth Co. to further its growth plans.
"Honey Dew's mission is to continue to better serve our growing base of loyal customers," said Bowen. "[Last year] was a great year for us and we anticipate 2010 to be even better."
