Hot Dog on a Stick announced it will introduce its new Mozzarella Cheese on a Stick with Spicy Sriracha Ketchup by giving one free Mozzarella Cheese on a Stick to customers on "National Cheese Day," Wednesday, Jan. 20. Mozzarella Cheese on a Stick features mozzarella cheese dipped in Hot Dog on a Stick's party batter, according to a company press release. The product was created in response to customer feedback and the popularity of Hot Dog on a Stick's American Cheese on a Stick and Pepper Jack Cheese on a Stick. It will officially debut in stores across the country on Jan. 12.

"We have a serious Cheese on a Stick fan base, like boyband level intense, and our new Mozzarella Cheese on a Stick is going to make them swoon," said Lisa Merrell, vice president of Hot Dog on a Stick. "The saltiness of the cheese, slight sweetness of the batter and spiciness of the ketchup is a cravable combination and our customers are going to love it. Join us for a free Mozzarella Cheese on a Stick on National Cheese Day and taste what the hype is about!"

Hot Dog on a Stick is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year and the brand plans to launch new products and improvements throughout the year, the release stated. Operated by Global Franchise Group, LLC, Hot Dog on a Stick has nearly 100 locations in the U.S., as well as internationally, including Brazil, Korea and Dubai.
