How McDonald’s is leading the way helping low vision customers: Don’t miss SSIS!

November 10, 2021

McDonald's has played a pioneering role popularizing self-service kiosks and this past year the fast food giant is upping its game by introducing technology to help the blind or those with low vision to use its self-serve kiosks.

All venues providing self-serve kiosks will hopefully follow McDonald's lead in addressing customers with vision capabilities.

For an inside view on how McDonald's teamed with accessibility practitioners to meet this important need, don't miss a "Lunch And Learn" presentation, "Making Self-Service Easier for Guests With Vision Disabilities at McDonald's" during the upcoming Self-Service Innovation Summit, being held Dec. 14-16 in Hollywood, Florida.

Kelsey Hall, McDonald's senior product manager of global digital accessibility, will deliver the presentation which will be moderated by Matt Ater, vice president of business development and software engineering at Vispero, sponsor of the presentation.
