Iconic Snack Wraps back to stay on McDonald's menu

The iconic Snack Wrap, which hasn't been seen on McDonald's menus in nearly a decade, is back as a permanent menu item.

The Chicago-based burger brand first menued Snack Wraps in 2006. They're available today at 11 a.m. after the breakfast daypart, according to a press release.

Fans petitioned McDonald's to bring back the Snack Wraps, posting on social media. Even celebrities like Demi Lovato got in on the Snack Wrap action.

The Snack Wraps are back in two flavors: Spicy and Ranch. They're made with all-white meat chicken, shredded lettuce and cheese for $2.99.

McDonald's operates 14,000 U.S. restaurants.
