Most couples don't expect to find much when they tear down walls in a home renovation. At worst it's typically a mouse who got trapped.

But one Illinois couple found what was likely the remains of a home construction worker's lunch from long ago: a McDonald's bag with French fries and hamburger wrappers.

Rob and Gracie Jones were doing repair on their Crystal Lake home in mid April and discovered the 70-year-old fast food brand bag trapped in a wall, according to a CNN report

"We saw the fries and were like, 'This is unreal.' How on Earth are these fries still in this bag and how are they preserved so well?! It was wild," Gracie told the news outlet.

The couple did some research and learned the brand's bag logo was used between 1955 and 1961.

"We'd be happy to sell it or if not, we'd probably keep it as a cool piece of history," Gracie told CNN.
