Colorado residents stood in line for hours to be among the first to grab a meal at In-N-Out Burger locations when the brand launched its two initial stores in the state.

The crowds were so huge at the Aurora location this past Friday that police were called to help manage the scene with some customers telling media they had been online for 14 hours, according to a New York Post report.

The line at the Aurora In-N-Out Burger was nearly two miles, and the Denver Post reported the store expected to sell about 60,000 burgers in its first weekend.

It was a similar scene at the Colorado Springs store, according a Gazette report, with customers lining up Tuesday for the Friday launch.

The QSR brand, which has locations in Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas and Oregon, expects to open seven more locations in Colorado.
