Inspire Brands names chief development, supply officers

Inspire Brands this week named two industry veterans to oversee development and supply chain functions at the multi-brand limited service restaurant concern, that serves as parent company for QSRs Arby's and Sonic. 

The company's former senior vice president of Real Estate, Don Crocker, was named chief development officer, to oversee company and franchise restaurant development, including real estate, construction, architecture, design, franchise recruitment and facilities management, according to a news release. 

Before his roles at Inspire, Crocker spent more than 20 years in Real Estate, Restaurant Development and Supply Chain roles at Chick-fil-A. 

Additionally, the company named former Yum Brands supply chain management organization, Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions Senior Vice President for KFC Christopher Held to the position of chief supply officer, overseeing efforts to centralize supply chain functions for Sonic, Rusty Taco and Buffalo Wild Wings, as well as Arby's outside the U.S. Arby's state-side supply chain cooperative, ARCOP, will continue to manage U.S. properties' supply chain. 

The company's brands now encompass more than 8,400 restaurants worldwide.
