Jack in the Box debuts Sourdough Cheesesteak Melt

September 27, 2012

Beginning today at participating restaurants, Jack in the Box is offering a Sourdough Cheesesteak Melt. The new sandwich features sliced steak, grilled onions, fire-roasted red and green peppers and melted cheese, and is topped with a mayo onion sauce and served on the chain's signature sourdough bread.

"Our new Sourdough Cheesesteak Melt is a great choice for our on-the-go guests who crave something other than a burger," said Peter Tremblay, division vice president of brand strategy for Jack in the Box Inc. "The combination of steak and cheese on our signature sourdough bread creates a sandwich that is filling and very affordable."

Sourdough is one of several different kinds of breads served at Jack in the Box, along with assorted bakery buns, grilled artisan bread, biscuits, croissants, a pita made with whole grains and a maple waffle bun.
