Jack in the Box Foundation donates $45,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters

The Jack in the Box Foundation raised $45,000 for BigBrothers Big Sisters of San Diego County during its annual bowl-a-thon at El Cajon's Parkway Bowl onOct. 10.
The funds, raised by nearly 300 Jack in the Box employees, family members, friends andvendors, will help the local BBBS agency expand its Operation Bigs program to include militaryfamilies living in the Coronado and Pt. Loma areas of San Diego. The program provides mentors,primarily from the military, to kids whose parents are deployed overseas.
The Jack in the BoxFoundation funded the launch of Operation Bigs at California's Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base in 2004.
