Jack in the Box in first Tournament of Roses parade
December 8, 2008
SAN DIEGO — Jack in the Box restaurants will sponsor its first-ever float in the annual Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, Calif., on New Year's Day.
The disco-themed float, themed "Jack-O-Licious," was designed by Festival Artists Worldwide and will feature a live band, flashing lights and a glittering disco ball atop giant platform shoes surrounded by more than 70 dancers.
Riding on the float will be Jack, the quick-serve chain's spokesman and namesake, as well as representatives from Big Brothers Big Sisters, the company's primary charitable partner, including Paul Castillo, 2008 California and Orange County Big Brother of the Year. Jack in the Box employees, franchise operators and company executives will join them.
