Jack in the Box launches new late night 'munchies' menu

September 27, 2013

Jack in the Box has developed a new late-night menu — available between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. — to "cure the munchies." The menu includes four new entrée options:

  • Stacked Grilled Cheese Burger– Sourdough grilled cheese on top, cheeseburger on bottom.
  • The Brunch Burger – A burger with a fried egg and a hash brown.
  • Exploding Cheesy Chicken Sandwich – A chicken sandwich with mozzarella cheese sticks and white cheese sauce.
  • Loaded Chicken Nuggets – Chicken nuggets topped with two kinds of cheese with ranch and bacon.

Each entrée can be purchased separately after 9 p.m. for $4, plus tax. Halfsie fries (half seasoned curly fries and half French fries) are also available for $2.50, plus tax.

The nocturnal menu also includes Jack's Munchie Meal, with two tacos, Halfsie fries and a 20 oz. drink for $6, plus tax.

"Our new late night menu was designed for the other nine-to-fivers, and we made sure it's worthy of standing up to hunger at any time of night," said Keith Guilbault, VP of Menu & Innovation at Jack in the Box. "Jack in the Box is known for offering its full menu, including breakfast, all day every day. And while that still holds true, our four new entrées are unique to our late night menu and sure to have guests wishing it was 9 p.m. already."

Beyond the menu

Jack in the Box is also celebrating the late-night crowd by creating a "party atmosphere" after 9 p.m. Employee uniforms will feature a new purple and black-colored style, and music will be on high volume until 5 a.m.

A social conversation about the new menu is taking place with #JacksMunchieMeal. The brand has also created a website, latenightfoodycall.com, with more information.
