Jack in the Box names former Domino's exec to investor relations post

San Diego-based Jack in the Box Inc. has named a former communications executive at Domino's as its vice president of investor relations, effective June 7.

Chris Brandon was most recently the pizza giant's director of investor relations during a 14-year stint at the company that included several other communications roles, a news release said.

"Chris has proven his ability to build trusting relationships with key members of the investment community and brings deep knowledge of the franchise restaurant industry, with more than a decade of experience communicating growth strategies," Jack in the Box CFO Tim Mullany said in the release. "I'm confident he will be a valuable addition to our team as we embark on a new growth chapter to extend Jack's reach within existing markets and into new territories over the coming years."

The appointment follows another leadership hire announced earlier this week of former Mooyah Burgers President Tony Darden as Jack in the Box COO.

Jack in the Box Inc. has more than 2,200 restaurants in 21 states and Guam.
