Jack in the Box has added an unusual twist to its already noncomforming breakfast menu.
On Monday, the chain debuted its Breakfast Pita Pocket, which features scrambled eggs, strips of bacon and ham, and American cheese stuffed in a whole grain pita bread and served with a side of fire-roasted salsa.
The item is available for $2.69, plus tax.
“Jack in the Box has one of the most varied breakfast menus in the quick-serve segment, with sandwiches and biscuits to croissants and burritos,” said Tammy Bailey, division vice president of menu marketing and promotions for Jack in the Box Inc. “With the addition of our new Breakfast Pita Pocket, we’re able to offer our guests even more variety when it comes to this important daypart."
Jack in the Box serves its full menu all day, therefore the new pita item is available any time.
