PALM DESERT, Calif. — The Jack in the Box Foundation held its annual charity golf tournament benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters and raised $275,000 for the non-profit organization, its primary charitable partner since 1998.
Nearly 300 Jack in the Box franchisees, executives, employees and vendors turned out for the tournament at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa here.
According to a news release, proceeds from the event will help The Jack in the Box Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters launch Hispanic mentoring initiatives in key Jack in the Box markets, including San Diego.
The goal of the initiatives is to help Latino youth reach their potential through supportive, one-to-one mentoring relationships.
